Oh, give me a home
Where the buffalo roam
And the deer and the antelope play...
My home, sweet, home is the great state of Wyoming! How many of you guessed it?
It is a LONG drive across Nebraska into Wyoming...
I drove past this tree that is growing out of a rock!
I'm almost to the western side of Wyoming, close to my hometown (about 13 hours away from Bellevue!)
I've finally made it to my hometown of Evanston! It was built in the 1868 by Union Pacific Railroad as a "railroad town". There are about 11,000 people living there (it is the 8th largest city in the state). Below is a picture of the old railroad depot.
If I travel north about 2 hours I will come to my grandparent's ranch where we have our annual family reunion at Spring Creek.
Just 2 more hours north is the Grand Tetons...
and Yellowstone National Park, which is the first National Park!
I hope you enjoyed visiting my home state of Wyoming!
Have you ever been to Wyoming? What did you do while you were there? E-mail me about your trip to Wyoming!
I am now heading to another state, just south of Wyoming. Join me!
I love Wyoming!
