Have you guessed where Flat Tammy is this week?  I had one person guess Nicaragua...but I told him that was not where I was.  He was close...I'm in the country NORTH of Nicaragua.  That's right--Honduras!  Actually I am on an island just off Honduras called Roatan.  Here is a map that shows you where the island is.

I went to Honduras with a family who do volunteer work at one of the local hospitals, Clinica Esperanza.  If you follow the link be sure to look in their "Gallery"--there are lots of great pictures!  Here are some pictures taken while I was there.

But it wasn't all work!  I got to go hiking...and then cool off in the ocean!

I am grateful I was able to visit Honduras, and especially to see the great work volunteers do to help people around the world!
